Adult Wellbeing

This established service, run by Freshwinds for over 24 years, is accessible to adults living with life threatening conditions regardless of geographical location. Over the years the programme has evolved enormously, incorporating medical professionals and expertise, to develop a unique integrated model, whilst also embedding clinical governance, training, education and research into our core work. As a result of the high standards and success, the Programme is very well known and respected amongst palliative care professionals in local hospitals, hospices, GPs and other care settings. The service is wholly volunteer based, with over 40 qualified therapists contributing their valuable time and skills to support the needs of the people we work with.

If it wasn’t for the therapeutic support from Freshwinds I feel I wouldn’t be where I am right now:
… a really good place, a really positive place.
