Sad news of a dearly missed colleague
Freshwinds staff and volunteers are shocked and saddened today to learn that one of our long-standing volunteers, Stuart Hatton, died at the weekend aged 24.
Stuart had volunteered for Freshwinds for three years: freely providing us with his expertise in graphic design.
“Stuart was friendly and helpful and liked by all. We are very grateful to him for his considerable contribution to Freshwinds and therefore to the communities and clients we support. His work and his positive attitude, despite having to endure perhaps the greatest possible personal obstacles, are inspirational. He will be dearly missed.”

“Stuart’s hard work and dedication as a volunteer is an example to us all of the gifts that people give us through their volunteering. We treasure those gifts deeply as we will treasure the memory of Stuart’s time with us. Our heartfelt thoughts go out to Stuart’s family and friends.”
