Evolutions of Health
Evolutions of Health is a Heritage Lottery funded programme exploring the differences between the generations, genders, ethnicities, professions and cultures found within Birmingham – the UK’s first super-diverse city – whilst recording the wider health and social heritage experiences that have affected the population over the years.
The project also champions heritage activities and experiences running throughout the Birmingham area, such as a (now ended) Queen Elizabeth Hospital Walking Tour in
partnership with Age Concern, which explored the history of the QE hospital site and branched out into the University campus and surrounding areas through the weeks.
The project is currently looking for individuals willing to share their tales of health – perhaps you worked in the health sector, or perhaps you are a patient with a long-term condition who has significant levels of engagement with healthcare – whatever your situation, we’d love to hear your story.
